Millions of years and these two moments- an excerpt from a love letter to you
Millions of years of life on earth, for all the living and the dying and the dead, the wildflowers on mountainsides and new combinations of notes not yet heard, the earth tilted and turning, and season to season, leaves & eyes fading from green to ash; yet somehow, there is always something left to say.
Millions of years gone, boundless bright galaxies consume space, and all I can think about is how it’d be better if you were here to see this lovely grass I am on. The softness of the glint of all things green and bright. For all its noise, how quiet the world is now. All I know is that I crave sometimes to see the shape of your head in the covers, how I ache for your existence, just there in the sheets. How human I am. It's almost comedic. At least ill admit it. Ai, of Aiko, it means love at the end of the day
